Zachary B. Edwards is a music educator and percussionist based in Houston, TX. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of music at San Jacinto College and is a doctoral student at the University of Houston, pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in music education with a minor in applied percussion. Previously, he was the general music teacher at KIPP CONNECT Primary School, a role he held for seven years. Zach is also a freelance percussionist in the Houston area and the owner and mallet-maker of Edwards Mallets, a producer of handmade timpani and bass drum mallets used by professionals nationwide.
